Heat press printing in Kenya for small runs, names and full-colour designs
Heat press printing applies your design to the garment using heat and pressure. It is the most flexible way to decorate clothing: it handles full-colour artwork, fine detail, names and numbers, and it works just as well for one T-shirt as for a team order. That makes it ideal when you do not need hundreds of pieces.
Pely Brand Kenya offers heat press printing for customers across Kenya, from our offices and workshop at Keekorok Shopping Mall, Keekorok Road, Nairobi CBD. There is no minimum order, so you can order a single piece or a full set. Every job is quoted individually based on your design, garment and quantity.
What we heat press
- T-shirts, polo shirts and hoodies
- Team and sports wear with names and numbers
- Staff and event T-shirts
- Caps, bags and other items. Ask us about your item.
- Personalised gifts and one-off designs
Heat press methods explained
Heat press is a group of methods rather than one process. Depending on your design and garment, we will recommend the right one:
- Heat transfer vinyl (HTV): cut vinyl pressed onto the fabric. Excellent for names, numbers, lettering and simple logos in solid colours.
- Full-colour transfers: your artwork is printed onto a transfer and pressed onto the garment. Good for detailed, multi-colour designs and photos.
- Sublimation: dye pressed into the fabric, suited to light polyester items. Ask us whether your item suits it.
When heat press is the right choice
- You need one or a few pieces, or a small run.
- You need names, numbers or different text on each garment.
- Your design has many colours, gradients or fine detail.
- You need something personal, like a gift, a family or group T-shirt, or a team kit.
Heat press, screen printing or embroidery?
For large runs of one simple design, screen printing is usually more economical. For a premium stitched look on polos, caps and uniforms, choose embroidery. Read our heat press printing guide or the comparison of embroidery vs screen printing vs heat press, or message us and we will recommend the best fit.
Artwork: what to send us
- Your logo or design as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) if you have it. A clear, large PNG or JPG also works.
- For names and numbers, send a list with sizes and the name or number for each garment.
- Tell us the garment colours and where the design should go.
- Tell us your quantity and deadline.
What affects the price of heat press printing
Send us the details and we will quote your exact job.
- the method used (vinyl, full-colour transfer or sublimation)
- the size of the design and number of colours
- the number of print positions
- the garment and quantity
- your deadline
Caring for heat pressed garments
Turn the garment inside out before washing, use cool to warm water, and avoid bleach. Do not iron directly on the design. Following these steps helps transfers stay smooth and bright.

Heat press printing in Kenya: frequently asked questions
How much does heat press printing cost in Kenya?
It depends on the method, design size, number of colours, garment, quantity and deadline. Send us your design and what you need and we will quote your job.
Can I print just one T-shirt?
Yes. Pely Brand Kenya has no minimum order, and heat press is ideal for single pieces and small runs.
What is the difference between heat press and screen printing?
Heat press uses heat and pressure to apply a transfer, which suits small runs, names and numbers, and many-colour designs. Screen printing pushes ink through screens and is best for larger runs of the same design.
Can you add names and numbers to team shirts?
Yes. Send us the list of names, numbers and sizes and we will quote the job.
Can you print full-colour photos or detailed designs?
Yes, full-colour transfers handle detailed artwork. Send your file and we will confirm the best method.
How do I wash heat pressed T-shirts?
Wash inside out in cool to warm water, avoid bleach, and do not iron directly on the design.
Can I bring my own garments?
You can ask us. Tell us what you have when you request a quote and we will confirm whether the fabric suits the method.
